Sufism is a subjective science of purifying the heart of human beings from the evil and material attachments of the world and driving it towards the realization of the divine knowledge and existence of the Almighty Allah. It is a way of practice which resists the man-made bondages among the humans and advocates unity of human race by promoting cohesion among different communities and sects and aims to unite the individual with the Almighty. Sufism is an indigenous cult that came into being in India for the cause of arranging tryst of the individual with the Divine and establishment of peace and harmony in the world. Different schools/ orders of Sufism are in vogue in India and all these schools (though the approaches are different) ultimately strive to achieve the same objectives.
