How does Fastag work?

Fastag uses RFID Technology. Every toll now has ETC Lane, which has RFID value reading facility with RFID Reader equipped at the top toll gate area.
As Fastag is sticked to the front glass panel, when we pass through the RFID Reader range, RFID tag gets powered by the Wireless power from the Reader.
As it gets powered, the circuit starts transmitting the RFID Tag Value (Which is specific to each tag). RFID Reader now reads the data, tries to query in it server.
If the RFID value is registered with Fastag, the Toll gate opens otherwise it won’t.
