We started from Rajapark area and it was a 35 minutes drive to the Biological park with regular traffic. We reached around 10:30 am on a holiday but we could hardly see anyone on the ticket windows.

Our Experience
We reached as early as 10:00 am to make sure we avoid the long cues at ticket counter for the Lion Safari and unnecessary waiting for the safari canters but we had to wait instead. As they need a minimum of 12 persons to begin the Lion safari. It took about 45 minutes to complete the requisite number.
So, I would suggest you to reach the park around 11:30 am as by then people start pouring in.
We went on the Lion safari first. The road to the safari is bumpy but what awaits you is totally worth it. Safari duration is one hour but the Lions were spotted at the beginning only. It was a treat to watch them in their natural habitat.
We were fortunate enough to catch these lions in action and the driver took us back to the entrance of the Biological Park after about 15-20 minutes. As per my info, almost everyone gets to see the Lions on the safari. So, its a win win to get there.
Next was stop at the Nahargarh Zoological Park. It was delighful to watch Asiatic lion, Bengal tigers, panthers, hyenas, wolves, deer, crocodiles, Himalayan black bear, wild boar, animals like Leopard, Asiatic Lion, Sloth Bear, Caracal, and several species of Deer, Gharials, Crocodile, Pangolin Jackal, Wild Dog, Wolf, Hyena, Jungle Civet and Fishing, Wild Cats, Common and Desert Fox, Rhesus Monkey and Langurs.
There is one battery operated vehicle that can accommodate about 12 persons which can take you around the zoological park halting at every stoppage. Else, if its a crowded day I highly recommend you carrying your water bottles, Hats/Umbrellas and put on the most comfortable shoes as its quite a walk.
Other than the flora and fauna one stop that gives the feel of Rajasthani architecture is the historical Baori in the park, not many know about. It is on the left hand side after entering the main gate of the park. Must visit to complete the visit to this site.
Overall, if you have kids along or you are an animal and bird lover the Biological park is worth visiting.
Happy exploring!
